Your privacy matters. This page explains what this site collects, why, and how you stay in control. It is written in plain language — no legal fog.
What this site collects
This site collects the minimum needed to work:
- Comments — the name and email you enter when commenting, plus the comment text. Used only to display and manage comments.
- Newsletter sign-ups — your email address, used only to send the weekly digest you asked for. Unsubscribe anytime with one click.
- Anonymous analytics — page views and approximate location (country level) to understand what readers find useful. No personal identifiers.
- Cookies — a small storage flag for your dark/light mode choice and comment preferences. Nothing tracks you across sites.
What this site never collects
- No passwords or financial account details.
- No bank card numbers.
- No contact list scanning.
- No selling or renting of any data to anyone.
Third-party services
Some parts of the site use trusted third-party services: the email platform that delivers the newsletter, and a privacy-respecting analytics service. Each processes only the data needed for its job and has its own privacy policy.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of any personal data this site holds about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted entirely. Just use the contact page and it will be done.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version is posted here with a new date.
